Waheeba Ahmed Al-Amrani is currently working as an associate professor at the Basic Applied Scientific Research Center (BASRC), Imam Abdulrahamn Bin Faisal University (IAU) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)—Malaysia with a doctorate in environmental chemistry. She works in the field of water treatment, employing adsorption and biodegradation technologies to remove azo dyes and heavy metals and recover rare earth elements from water and industrial wastewater.
