N2 - The revolution of smart load scheduling using the optimization techniques plays a prominent role in the development in the industrial sector. This includes the load scheduling based upon the demand side management in the industrial sector with the economic load dispatch. The optimization technique plays a significant role in the effective load scheduling in the industrial sector. The amalgamation of new technologies with communication system helps in the improvement of the grid to make it smarter and effective. The demand side management is efficiently achieved through the innovation of smart grid in the network. Customer participation by actively reducing or fluctuating the loads from rush hours to non-rush hours with respect to the available power is done by DR schemes. Thus to obtain automatic scheduling of appliances artificial intelligence technique namely Genetic Algorithm is recommended in order to reduce the excessive wastage of power thus by using it efficiently in a smarter way in the industrial applications.
