Abstract

This chapter provides an overview of the early beginnings and evolution of Egypt's medical examination system. It describes protocols used in forensic medicine practice and components of the forensic medicine authority, the way forensic medical personnel and academics and forensic departments are structured, educational possibilities for postgraduate scholars, and information about research in forensic medicine and pathology.
