Abstract
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's tourism industry has changed significantly in recent years. Launched in 2016, the Saudi Vision 2030 has played a significant role in achieving significant development and improving the tourism sector. Tourism is one of the main pillars of this vision. One of the main objectives of tourism development in Saudi Arabia is to attract international tourism and promote domestic tourism. In this research, a platform for domestic tourism in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia enhanced with virtual reality technology was designed. The study covers several topics that help travelers narrow down their vacation options by making travel and hotel reservations easier, giving them access to a virtual tour of the kingdom's most popular tourist destinations, and more. Additionally, the platform provides hotel and airline registration, promotional offers, and exclusive discounts. Furthermore, it ensures the reliability and reputation of hotels and airlines, aiming to prevent tourists from falling victim to scams and fraud through fake websites. In addition, it safeguards the standing and dependability of lodging facilities and airlines, hoping to keep travelers from becoming victims of fraud and swindles via phony websites.
