Abstract

This digital supply chain is in the process of transitioning from one shift spurred by the developments in Financial Technology (FinTech). As part of the analysis for this paper, we determine whether the use of FinTech in digitalizing supply chains is real or fake. Based on the concepts of Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Platform Credit Financing (PCF), this paper examines how these technologies are increasing digital trust, operational effectiveness, and minimising risk. Using case and review of recent development, this research also discusses the interfacing and tensions of these technologies with focus on how digital trust is going to be a key enabler moving forward in the area of supply chain finance.
